Two dead and two injured is the balance of the collapse of a hill registered in the town of Cohechán, in the district of Conila, Luya province. This was reported by the Regional Government of Amazonas, through the Regional Emergency Operations Center (COER).
The fatal victims were identified as Víctor Hugo Zumaeta Tuesta and Victoria Grandez Vilca, whose bodies were removed by health personnel and delivered to their relatives with authorization from the Public Ministry.
The collapse also caused the total interruption of the road and the overturning of heavy machinery of a road consortium.
In the area, the District Municipality of Conila, the National Police of Peru, the Prosecutor’s Office, the Fire Department, the Amazonas Diresa, the peasant rounds and other institutions, who continue the search, rescue and cleanliness.
