The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) ratifies its support for the activation of five thousand 336 Militarian Communal Units (UCM) and described them as a monolithic block in defense of peace and the sovereignty of the national territory.
This was reiterated by the Minister of Popular Power for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, through a message on his Telegram channel. This measure was recently promulgated by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
“Under the precise orders of our Commander in Chief and Constitutional President, Nicolás Maduro, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, accompanies the combatant people in the activation of five thousand 336 militia communal units,” said the head of the Castrense entity.
At the discretion of the ministerial holder, the UCM represent a territorial defensive system at its maximum expression, in addition to faithfully reflect the civic-military-political fusion as the commander Hugo Chávez visualized it.
This system is consolidated as a “monolithic block prepared to defend peace, sovereignty and the sacred inheritance of our liberators.” Finally, the Padrino minister reiterated that the FANB expresses an absolute commitment to these organizations. “Every militiaman and militia is a homeland soldier!”, Concluded by Padrino López.
