“This leads us to prepare for the response. We already send the framework of action to the 125 municipalities, we socialize actions to the Departmental Council, and We have the items and contracts ready to reduce and mitigate the risk, and respond to emergencies, ”said Ríos Puerta.
Dagran said that, hired yellow machinery for 3 billion pesos for risk mitigation and more than 15 billion pesos for the strengthening of the Departmental Disaster Risk Management Fund.
During the session, it was also announced that in the run of the year 564 emergencies have been reported with a total of 15 thousand 238 affected families. For that, the Dagran allocated, in order to manage the disaster risk to date, more than 2 billion pesos for humanitarian aid, 1,500 million pesos for yellow machinery, almost 10 billion in transfers of resources to the municipalities for emergency care, and constantly accompaniment with geologists and engineers through technical advice with more than 300 visits.
The director invited citizens in this season to ensure roofs and tiles and identify that there are no leaks and have an emergency kit with basic supplies and identify the evacuation routes and safe points.
