O Official Diary of the Union publishes, this Wednesday (9), ordinance of the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep), with the result of the 2021 Edition of the Certificate of Proficiency in Portuguese Language for Foreigners (Celpe-Bras).
The exam was held from December 7th to 9th of last year and the result, with the respective level of proficiency obtained, can be accessed from today, at inep page on the Internet.

According to Inep, Celpe-Bras tests are carried out at accredited applicators in Brazil and abroad, such as higher education institutions, diplomatic representations, consular missions, cultural centers and institutes, as well as other institutions interested in promoting and diffusion of the Portuguese language.
The certificate can be used for admission to undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as for validation of diplomas by foreign professionals who intend to work in the country.
Anyone wishing to take the test must pay attention to the deadlines and rules of the notices. They are different every semester. Since 2020, due to the covid-19 pandemic, Celpe-Bras has only one annual application, in the second semester.
