Huancayo journalist denounces threats after receiving bullets in his home

Lowis Govi, a journalist from the province of Huancayo, denounced that it has been a victim of threats, after their security cameras registered when a taxi parked in front of his home and left an envelope with bullets next to an intimidating message. “I am asked not to put my snout in matters that do not compete”he said.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, September 3 around 1 in the afternoon. According to the complaint, the vehicle used was an A2Z-161 plate taxi, belonging to the Taxi to the touch.

According to the Lowis Govi ​​version, the threats would be linked to their informative work, since in their political program addresses investigations, complaints and irregularities that involve officials and candidates in the region in the framework of the 2026 elections.
