The Attorney General of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Tarek William Saab, announced that after investigations and arrests to members of the self -proclaimed NGO “Surgents” it was known that it receives funding from abroad and has direct links with universities in the United States.
He explained during an interview on the Pulse program, which is broadcasting Venezola of television, which the members of said NGOs were recruited from Europe in order to execute actions under a leftist speech.
In addition, he said that “from a left -wing language, human rights and anti -imperialist rights defenders are passed,” but their true objectives have been unmasked. And criticized the use of this ideological discourse to cover up its true purposes.
He also stressed that although they are proclaimed as anti -imperialists and left, the members of the organization did not condemn the reward offered by the United States for the arrest of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, nor the military threats against Venezuela.
“How can you self -proclaim the leftist NGO, anti -imperialist, who fights for the poor, when you receive and have contact with American universities that finance you, that give you visibility?” Saab questioned.
The Attorney General criticized the lack of complaints by these organizations, which he called “false speech,” about the calls to bomb Venezuela.
“They do not defend any human right, because if they defended it, they would defend the human rights of the Venezuelan entire nation, the 30 million Venezuelans who want peace,” Saab said.
Similarly, he reiterated that these NGOs have been “unmasked” and have shown not to have a true left -wing agenda.
Likewise, he linked the activities of the NGO to the hybrid war, because its action is part of a strategy that has its roots in the so -called Cultural War and Congress for Cultural Freedom, which is a historical program of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
