Meteorology predicts cold and rain to São Paulo and Porto Alegre

The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) foresees for this weekend the arrival of a cold front in São Paulo, with sudden drop in temperature and possibility of rain. For Rio de Janeiro, which had on Friday (5) a day of hot and dry time, the forecast for the weekend is from cloudy to cloudy, with weak rain.

Rio de Janeiro

This Friday (5), Rio de Janeiro had a hot and dry day of time. The sky was predominantly clear, with few clouds in the sky. The maximum temperature reached 33.4ºC in Guaratiba, in the west of the city. The minimum of dawn was 14.3ºC, in Jacarepaguá, in the same region.

In the middle of the winter, the temperature above 30ºC can be considered a summer. The beaches had a great movement of bathers to enjoy the sunny day.

For this Saturday (6), the forecast is that time will change with the approach of a cold front. The forecast is from cloudy to cloudy, with weak rain, from the late morning. Temperature will decline. The forecast of the Rio warning system is that the maximum temperature does not exceed 26ºC.

The winds will be moderate, with gusts that can reach 50 kilometers per hour.

For Sunday (7), the transport of moisture of the ocean towards the continent will maintain the unstable time. The sky will be cloudy to covered and there is a forecast of weak rain isolated throughout the day. The maximum temperature should be around 23ºC.

São Paulo

In Sao Paulo, this weekend, the arrival of a cold front will cause a sudden drop in temperature. For this Saturday, the forecast, according to the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet), is from sky with many clouds with the possibility of isolated rain. The minimum temperature will be around 15ºC and the maximum will not exceed 20ºC.

For Sunday (7), the forecast is a rain day and isolated thunderstorms, with the temperature ranging from the minimum of 15ºC and the maximum of 20ºC.

Porto Alegre will have a very cold weekend, with the possibility of frost and weak to moderate winds with gusts. The minimum temperature will be 9ºC and the maximum at 14ºC.

For Sunday (7), the forecast is that the cold will be repeated, with the minimum reaching 10ºC and the maximum in 14ºC, and can generate again in the capital.

North

In the north of the country, meteorology foresees a weekend with sky with many clouds and the possibility of isolated rain in the cities of Belém and Manaus. The capital of Pará will have a maximum temperature Saturday reaching 33ºC, and the Amazonian capital will have a slightly higher temperature, reaching 35ºC.

In Brasilia, over the weekend, the temperature will be milder, with the maxim reaching 29ºC, on Saturday, with relative humidity around 25%. Already on Sunday, Independence Day, the maximum temperature reaches 28ºC, but the relative humidity will be 20%.

This low humidity can cause dryness of skin and mucous membranes, eye, mouth and nose irritation, nasal bleeding and aggravate breathing problems such as asthma and rhinitis, and increases susceptibility to infections.
