With the aim of advancing in the identification and registration of potential beneficiaries, social prosperity enabled an online pre -registration form, available in the following official link: https://rit.prosperidadsocial.gov.co/?id=433.
This form is aimed at women 60 years or older and 65 -year -old men or more that are in poverty or vulnerability and that are not registered in Colombia Mayor or receive a pension from any regime.
The entity clarified that the requested information will serve exclusively to update contact and location data in order to facilitate the inclusion strategy through municipal mayors.

How much will the assistance of the solidarity pillar be?
The pension reform consists of four pillars: contributory, semicontributive, solidarity and voluntary savings, each designed to respond to the needs of different population groups, with the purpose of building a more fair and balanced system.
Among these, the solidarity pillar has aroused special attention, since it gives a basic income to older adults who are in poverty.
Its implementation represents a significant relief for more than 3.1 million people who have historically been out of the pension system.
The beneficiaries will receive a solidarity basic income of $ 230,000 per month, equivalent to the amount necessary to overcome the extreme poverty line. This support will be delivered up to 12 payments per year, depending on the moment they are incorporated into the program.
In addition to providing economic stability, the solidarity pillar recognizes the cultural and social diversity of the country. For this reason, the Government has developed inclusion strategies that facilitate the registration of indigenous, Afro -Colombian, root, palenqueras, peasants and caregivers.
