The Chamber of Deputies installed a commission of the Political Coordination Board (Jucopo) to vent the lag of almost 2,000 initiatives that have been dragged since last year, and determine which can be approved in an ordinary period of sessions that will be characterized by having an “intense legislative work”.
This was indicated by the coordinator of the Morena bench in San Lázaro, Ricardo Monreal, who added that the approval of the calendar of appearances for the gloss of the first report of President Claudia Sheinbaum was delayed a week.
When asked about the large number of projects that have not yet been ruled in commissions or voted in the Plenary – Mil 971 in total, according to statistics from the General Directorate of Parliamentary Support -, the Zacatecan said that “there is already the commission that was designated by the Jucopo” for said purposes.
That instance “is chaired by Alfonso Ramírez Cuéllar, vice coordinator of the bench, and is made up of a representative of each parliamentary group. We are in the review of which initiatives can be approved in the Plenary. We are in that, but we have a lot of legislative work.”
Regarding the appearances before the Plenary and the commissions of the Federal Government’s Chamber of Officials for the Gloss of the First Government Report of Sheinbaum, Monreal indicated that “the week that enters we will agree on that, there in the Jucopo. We are going to wait. First it is an discussion inside and then the appearances”.
The legislator confirmed that on Monday, September 8, the San Lázaro Board of Directors will receive from the Ministry of Finance the Economic Package for next year, which is integrated by the Project of Income, the Expenditure Budget and the Fiscal Miscellaneous.
