The head of government of the Capital District, Nahúm Fernández, on behalf of the fighter bodies of the city, held a meeting with the general commander of the Bolivarian militia, m/g Orlando Romero Bolívar, in order to plan the next activities aimed at guaranteeing the defense of national sovereignty.

“We reiterate the national values, love and revolutionary principles that seek to guarantee a better quality of life for our people,” said the capital president. In addition, he recalled that these actions comply with the instructions of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.

Fernández also argued that “in the face of the threats and aggressions promoted by the American Empire, the Venezuelan people join their liberating forces to proudly defend their homeland.”

«The United States government has disseminated a discriminatory narrative that seeks to discredit our workers’ president and our country; However, several nations of the world have expressed their support for Venezuela, and our people have become an example of heroic resistance, ”said Fernández.
