The CICPC reported on the capture of five subjects belonging to a criminal band specialized in the theft of heavy machinery and pieces within the PDVSA facilities, located in the La Manga sector, José Gregorio Monagas municipality, Zuata parish, Anzoátegui state.
The criminals are identified as Humberto Daniel González García (20), José Ramón Rivas Bernaez (31), with registration for strategic material trafficking, generic robbery, violence and illicit bearing, Orlando Rafael Lazarde Dallas (41), with records for possession of narcotics, theft of cattle and generic robbery, Eduardo José Pérez Cabeza (36) Quintana (24), says the report of the Scientific Police.
These people operated at different times of the day, taking advantage of their knowledge of the place to subtract high -value parts such as engines, tubes, cables, connecting rods, cameras and pistons.
Subsequently, the criminals marketed the stolen pieces to a third party, still to stop, who would take care of the procedures to take out such material from the Venezuelan territory, the Cicpc detailed.
After the arrest of the aforementioned, an industrial engine of manual transmission belonging to PDVSA, three motorcycles and three cell phones was recovered, the report broken down.
In another Cicpc procedure carried out in Anzoátegui, it was captured in Colinas de Valle Verde, Puerto La Cruz, Yoneike Ismael Soto Mangarre (20), for theft of strategic material belonging to PDVSA.
