Four minors were arrested by Cicpc agents after detecting their alleged connection with the murder of Leidy Escalona Romero, mother of three children.
This fact occurred last Monday, August 25 in the Vista Hermosa sector, Ciudad Bolivia (Barinas), where Romero Escalona resided. That day, the subjects entered the woman’s house to steal a motorcycle, according to preliminary versions collected. In the midst of the robbery, the subjects tried 15 stabs to Leidy that caused death on the site.
Subsequently, they took the body and threw it into the Canaguá River, as they pass through the La Quinta sector, where it was located when people extracted granzón, according to the reports.
After rescuing the body, the Cicpc-Socopó began the inquiries that led to the realization of multiple raids until they found the capture of the four minors.
The detainees had already dabbled in other crimes, including drug trafficking, according to police sources.
