In terms of health, the first government report refers to the health system for well-being, in which the services of the Mexican Social Security Institutes (IMSS), of Social Security and Social Services of State Workers and IMSS-Bienestar converge.
As part of the actions to reach a unique system, the exchange of services is expected, although so far it remains in the emergency, hemodialysis and radiotherapy.
Social programs such as Health per Casa stand out, with which visits to more than 819 thousand older adults and people with disabilities have already been made, to whom they reviewed nursing professionals.
The strategy continues with the lifting of the census of over 60 years and individuals with permanent disabilities. Until June the data of 8.9 million citizens were obtained and the report indicates that for the first year of operation of the program 2 billion pesos were assigned, of which a thousand 149.5 million were exercised in the first semester.
The mention of the National Public Health Service also stands out, which is an “extension of the Ministry of Health” in 30 states of the Republic, with the exception of Guanajuato and Nuevo León. It has the responsibility of articulating the actions in the field and favoring the strengthening of the rectory of the federal agency at different operational levels.
Between February and June, 30 work programs were launched and “situational diagnoses to align local priorities” are already available. Actions were promoted, such as health houses, vaccination, community health and suicide prevention.
In immunization, in addition to measles and coughing campaigns, highlights the application of the biological against the human papillomavirus in girls and the incorporation of children in fifth grade of primary school, 11 years of school and from 12 to 16 years. A million 186 thousand 591 doses were applied, equivalent to an advance of more than 100 percent compared to the estimated goal.
In another matter, the report highlights that next December the inauguration of the Metropolitan Mixture Center is expected, for the preparation of cancer therapies.
