He Third Collegiate Court from Santo Domingo Oeste condemned a man to 10 years in prison accused of introducing a smuggling of weapons of fire to the country, in an event that occurred on April 21, 2023.
The accused identified as Annober Acosta Terrero must fulfill the penalty imposed in the Correction and rehabilitation center (CCR) Najayo menlocated in the province of San Cristóbal.
The Court’s decision was based on the evidence presented by the Public Ministry, which detailed in a press release that the investigations began after members of military and police security of the General Directorate of Customs (DGA) detected two boxes with suspicious content In the Eastern Haina port.
