Registration is open for the Clean Photography Contest Brasil 2025, an initiative that unites art, social engagement and environmental education. The contest, sponsored by Transpetro, is part of the program of World Cleaning Day, on the 20th of this month.
Each competitor may send a single unpublished photograph, made from September 16 to 22, during the official actions of World Cleaning Day. Images should show individual or collective environmental preservation initiatives, cleaning efforts or impacts caused by inadequate waste disposal.
The 15 finalist photographs will be chosen by a technical jury and popular vote, with international highlight, with a display at the 30th UN Conference on Climate Change – COP30, in Belém (PA), which will take place between November 10 and 21. The winners will receive awards such as notebooks, cell phones and tablets.
“The project also includes the holding of lectures online and workshops open to contest participants, focused on environmental education and social participation. At the same time, ten face -to -face lectures will be promoted in public schools located in areas of social vulnerability, ”says Edilainne Muniz, executive director of the Clean Brazil Institute.
“Transpetro believes that taking care of the environment is taking care of people. We are proud to be part of this mobilization, which focuses on the preservation of the environment and the care of people,” says the company’s president, Sérgio Bacci.
People over 12 years old can participate as long as they are not photography professionals or work at Transpetro. Registration is free and must be made by September 20, in website www.limpabrasil.org. The regulation is also available on the internet.
