According to Senator Nicolás Viera, on Wednesday 27 and Thursday, August 28, the Minister of Transportation and Public Works, Lucía Etcheverry, the Undersecretary Claudia Peris, and the Management Team, will visit the Department of Colonia.
“The tour will focus on the ports of Nueva Palmira, Colonia and Juan Lacaze, and the cities of Carmelo and Nueva Helvecia,” says Viera.
It will be in the territory to “meet MTOP officials, tour works and facilities and maintain an encounter with the mayor and other authorities.”
Viera pointed out, in addition that they are “organizing several meetings with different municipalities because we are interested in making concrete and strengthened approaches for common initiatives.”
