Businessman Thiago Brennand was sentenced to the crime of rape to a prison sentence, in a closed regime. He will also have to pay compensation of at least $ 200,000. 
The lawsuit, which was the ninth he responded to, was also the last open according to the São Paulo Court of Justice (TJSP). As a secret of justice, there is no more details about this conviction.
Thiago Brennand has been arrested since 2023, having passed the Provisional Detention Center of Pinheiros, in São Paulo, and was transferred to the Tremembé II prison in the interior of the state. This process was the only one who had not gone through trial.
He was convicted in five cases and reached extrajudicial agreements in two others, in all responding for crimes ranging from aggression, violence against women and rapes.
The last conviction of the entrepreneur occurred in September, In another rape action, for crimes committed repeatedly between 2015 and 2016 in Jardim Europa, a noble neighborhood of São Paulo. According to the file, after a first consented relationship, Brennand threatened and assaulted the victim to lead her to the practice of intimate acts, without condoms, when she contaminated the woman with sexually transmitted disease. There were also indirect threats to the victim’s daughter, displaying a firearm to her.
