The Minister of Transportation and Public Works, Lucía Etcheverry, accompanied by directors of the different distributions of her portfolio, is this Wednesday in Nueva Palmira. In the morning he met with officials from the departments of Colonia and Soriano of the different addresses, at the facilities of the Peñarol Club.
He then attended the Palmirense municipality where he was received by the municipal councils of Carmelo and Nueva Palmira. Senator Nicolás Viera and deputies Nibia Reisch and Mario Colman also attended. The orders focused on the repair of routes: the 21 of Carmelo to Nueva Palmira (with a new bridge), to new 97 from Route 12 to the heavy traffic diversion in Carmelo, and lighting for the neuralgic points of the Bypass. The nationalist mayors Andrés Passarino and Luis Pablo Parodi presented the aforementioned issues verbally and the councilor against the frontample, Andrés Fassi, did so through notes signed by residents of the community.
According to the senator, he saw the aforementioned orders had been made during the previous government administration and did not materialize.
For his part, Colman talked about the lack of rooms of the Lyceum building.
At the moment the minister and her team are holding a meeting with the port community at the facilities of the National Ports Administration.
