According to the information confirmed by the CTI of the Prosecutor’s Office and media as InfobaeValeria’s body was found thanks to the warning of a farmer who was traveling through the Cold River area.
The man, when observing the body floating in the water, immediately notified a security official of the municipality, who in turn alerted the competent authorities to activate the corresponding protocol.
What has surprised the community most is that the area where the girl appeared had already been inspected during search operations.
This was recognized by Governor Rey in dialogue with Blu Radiopointing out that “It was a place so close to the starting point of the search that it could not have been in front of everyone’s eyes and never observed it”
These statements increased uncertainty and suspicions around the case.
After the farmer’s report, the CTI of the Prosecutor’s Office was in charge of the inspection of the body and the lifting on the riverbank.
Subsequently, the body was transferred to the National Institute of Legal Medicine, where necropsy is advanced that will be key to determining the causes of death.
The finding has raised more questions than answers. The family, through his lawyer Julián Quintana, has denounced irregularities in the management of the case, indicating even possible omissions by the school where Valeria was last seen.
