Santo Domingo.– The General Directorate of Public Contracts (DGCP) issued two resolutions on Thursday through which it cancels several awards of uniforms, backpacks and school kits, after completing an investigative process initiated ex officio that detected multiple irregularities In the contracting procedures carried out by the National Student Welfare Institute (INABIE).
Backpacks and school kits
In the National public tender no. INABIE-CCC-LPN-2024-0010corresponding to the preparation and acquisition of backpacks and school kits for periods 2025-2026 and 2026-2027, the DGCP confirmed violations of the principles of equality, transparency and free competitionin addition to irregularities in technical, economic evaluations and in the award criteria.
