THE Counselor Bruno Moretti is the new chairman of the Petrobras Board of Directors, approved at a meeting held on Thursday (21) by the Board. He will have a mandate until the next General Assembly, the oil company said.
Moretti will replace Pietro Adamo Sampaio Mendeswho presented the request for resignation to the positionthis Wednesday (20). He will take over the board of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).
Currently, Moretti is a special secretary of government analysis of the Presidency of the Republic, advisor to Petrobras and member of the Company’s Investment Committee.
Graduated in Economics from the Fluminense Federal University (UFF), he was director and substitute executive secretary of the Ministry of Health, between 2014 and 2015.
He then served as Deputy Executive Secretary of the Civil House of the Presidency of the Republic (2015 to 2016) and technical advisor in the Federal Senate, between 2017 and 2022.
