Santo Domingo.- A high pressure or anticyclone system will limit rain activity this Thursday, the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) reported.
The agency informed that only in places near mountains could be registered moderate downpours, but that the rest of the Dominican territory will be under the influence of the anticyclone.
Also, Meteorology reported that it monitors two downpour zones located in the east of the Atlantic Ocean, which could reach a category of tropical depression in the next few days.

The first of these systems was located, on Wednesday afternoon, east of the Sotavento Islands (where the wind plagues), and the second, west of the coast and Africa.
The INDOMET urged the population to stay attentive to the official information that this agencies will issue in the next hours about the evolution of both systems.
