What is the performance of the CETES?

This week the CETES at 28 days had a slight increase to 7.4%, in line with the level of the reference rate.

How much is a CETE?

Treasury certificates (CETS) are classified according to the investment period. Banxico has deadlines of 28, 91, 182, 364 and 707 days. The choice depends on the investment horizon of each person.

The nominal value of a CETE is 10 pesos, but it is sold with a discount rate, that is, the investor pays less of those 10 pesos and, at the expiration, receives the full value. The difference between the two represents the performance.
