The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv), Diosdado Cabello warned that the extremist opposition “a brutal psychological war campaign is in development, with the false matrix of an American intervention and a military uprising.”

Cabello revealed that a source from the White House assured him that “even the press conferences are being orchestrated, preparing questions and answers, to counteract the statements of the Venezuelan government.”
