The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, awarded 27 military and police officers on Tuesday for his outstanding work during the frustrated attack in Plaza Venezuela.
From the El Guardaro sector, in the San Juan de Caracas parish, the Head of State granted the order of order to La Paz, in his only class, to officials of the National Anti -Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas), in recognition of his work in the defense of citizen tranquility and the prevention of violent acts in public spaces.
Likewise, he conferred the order of order to La Paz, in his only class, to officials of the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (DGCIM), with the aim of highlighting his work in defense of sovereignty and national peace.
In the same way, he granted the order of order to peace, in his only class, to officials of the Corps of Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations (CICPC), in recognition of his outstanding work in the preservation of citizen security and the fight against organized crime.
The national president stressed that this award represents much more than an honorary symbol, since he recognizes the daily commitment of uniformed men and women who guarantee the peace of the Venezuelan people. “It is more than a decoration, it is a recognition. Dozens of lives, and are saved daily lives thanks to their delivery,” he said.
He explained that the officials not only managed to neutralize the defeatist attack, but also identified, pursued and captured all the material and intellectual authors of the event, who would be linked to terrorist groups financed by the United States (USA) and Sayonism.
The Head of State stressed that the action of security forces was decisive to preserve national stability, avoiding an escalation of violence in the heart of Caracas. “These uniform men represent daily peace, concrete peace, the peace that is built with courage and patriotism.”
The order for peace is consolidated as a distinction of high moral and patriotic value, granted to those who demonstrate courage, discipline and loyalty in defense of sovereignty and tranquility of the Venezuelan people.
With this act, the Bolivarian government reaffirms its commitment to national security, the fight against terrorism and the active defense of peace as a fundamental principle of the Bolivarian Revolution.
