The municipality of El Doncello, Caquetá, lives moments of sadness after the sudden death of Luisa F. Bohórquez Moralesa teenager of the Immaculate Heart Educational Institution of Mary. The child, who had recently presented the ICFES tests, began to experience heavy headaches that were initially treated as migraines.

According to the medical report, at first the young woman was treated in a health center where she received treatment to relieve symptoms. However, its health state worsened quickly, which forced it to transfer it to a hospital with greater complexity to carry out specialized studies.


The exams practiced revealed an unexpected diagnosis: a brain tumor that had gone unnoticed until then. Given the seriousness of the situation, the specialists decided to intervene it surgically in order to save his life, but, despite the efforts, the young woman did not resist the operation.
The news of his death has caused great shock in the educational community and among the inhabitants of El Doncello, who do not hide their sadness before the departure of an outstanding student, described by his classmates and teachers as cheerful, committed and with many dreams to fulfill.


Family, friends and neighbors have expressed messages of solidarity and accompaniment on social networks, highlighting the footprint that Luisa left on those who shared with her. In his school, symbolic acts were organized in memory of the young woman, where the students expressed their pain with messages, flowers and candles.


Luisa’s death leaves a deep reflection in the community: the importance of paying attention to health symptoms, even when they seem common or not serious. Today, the Doncello not only regrets the loss of a young life, but also joins a message of strength and support for the Bohorquez Morales family in this difficult time.
