He Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC) declared in administrative restructuring the Special National Transport Infrastructure (National) project, as well as the Special Decentralized Transport Infrastructure Project (decentralized provisions).
The decision adopted by the holder of the MTC, César Sandoval, by means of Directorial Resolution No. 564-2025-MTC, occurs within the framework of strengthening the transparency standards and the fight against corruption provided by the Government of the President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte.
The document also provides for the creation of a sectoral commission of a temporary nature, under the MTC, to prepare and present as soon as possible to the ministerial office a report with the results of the integral evaluation of the critical processes of national provís and decentralized provisions.
Precisely, the MTC ordered on August 13 the creation of another working group to issue an exhaustive report on the concession contract for the Cusco terminal, signed in 2014 with the Kuntur Wasi SA consortium, Addent No. 1 signed in 2017 and the unilateral resolution of the agreement adopted that same year.
In the same restructuring line of both special projects of the MTC, the new executive directors of Nacional and decentralized Provías were appointed, who must guarantee the policy of transparency and anti -corruption struggle of the sector.
