Qali Warma: They involve Nicanor Boluarte

A serious corruption complaint again shakes the social program Qali Warma. The former Chief of the Unit for Supervision, Monitoring and Evaluation of Qali Warma (2019 and 2022) Víctor Salazar Cóndor, who is currently in Spain, has been indicated as a key piece in an alleged plot of bribes that would link to Nicanor Boluarte, brother of President Dina Boluarte.

According to the investigation of Final pointSalazar would have acted as an intermediary between the Frigoinca company and the presidential environment. An effective collaborator has revealed that Salazar said that Nicanor asked him for a million soles to appoint him executive director of Qali Warma. In return, Salazar would have committed to favoring the company and ignoring complaints about the low quality of its products.

Salazar and Nicanor Boluarte worked together at the Ministry of Education. In addition, Fredy Hinojosa Angulo, current spokesman for the President of the Republic, was the one who hired Salazar in a chast in Qali Warma in 2019.

Fiscal investigations have confirmed that Salazar received bribes for a total of 53,500 Frigoinca soles and that the company used equine meat in some of its beef preserves, paying Salazar to evade the controls.
