“The hallucin” was threatened in January this year. In flyers that were distributed in Culiacán, the image of Ochoa Delgado appeared along with 24 more people, such as the Pomela and Markitos Toys’s singer, who were accused of allegedly collaborating finacierly with criminal groups.
“Do you know them? Denucial them. These people are great financial and collaborators very close to lacriza, we go for each and every one of you. These people are not innocent, we ask you in the most attentive way that they move away from these youtubers and stop supporting and seeing their content,” he read in the flyers.
The influencer, originally from Sinaloa, had more than 348,000 subscribers on YouTube, 336,000 on Tik Tok, and 211,000 on Instagram. In his videos he talked about personal experiences.
In some recordings he said that he was related to the Sinaloa cartel in 2014; He was kidnapped by Los Zetas in 2004, when he worked in Tamaulipas, and who was in prison for seven years.
In addition to being an influencer, Camilio Ochoa Delgado belonged to a business family. His father Arnoldo de la Rocha founded the El Chicken Restaurants Chain.
So far there are no detainees for the murder of Ochoa Delgado, but the Attorney General of the State of Morelos reported that it develops the corresponding intervention and investigation protocols for the homicide of the influencer.
“The FGE maintains a close collaboration with the state and federal institutions that make up the State Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace and Security, with the purpose of demarcating responsibilities in this case, as carried out in other inquiries,” he said in the statement.
