The Cicpc investigates the circumstances in which a two -month -old boy died, which occurred last Wednesday in the José Félix Ribas, Chivacoa (Yaracuy) sector.
The first reports indicate that the child’s mother allegedly immersed the baby in a near of water to cause death. Prior to the fact, the woman had hit the child in the head.
A baby relative observed the scene, rescued the boy from the Tobo and transferred it to the Chivacoa hospital (Yaracuy) where he entered without vital signs, according to reports.
That fact was reported by the medical staff to the Cicpc, whose agents moved to the health center to initiate rigor research.
The child’s body was admitted to the National Service of Medicine and Forensic Sciences (Senamef), San Felipe headquarters (Yaracuy), where they found the wounds caused in the cephalic region, among others.
After knowing such results, the Cicpc cited to question the baby’s mother, his mother, the victim’s father and two paternal uncles of the infant, sources of the justice system revealed.
A day before the infanticide occurred, the baby’s mother took him to the Tiburcio Garrido hospital, located in Chivacoa, due to the blows to the head. There he told the doctor that the child had fallen, which originated the lesions in the head, the sources detailed.
Cicpc research continues its course, which includes a reconstruction of the events that occurred last Wednesday. This, with the purpose of verifying on the site, the sayings of the child’s mother, as well as the statements of the other members of the family nucleus.
