The Ministry of Health, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), continues with vaccination points in different sectors of the capital.
The vaccination remains one of the main tools against COVID-19 and the flu. Therefore, citizens can be vaccinated against these diseases, at the same time, in one of nine points that are kept in Quito.

The points attention are enabled from 08:00 to 16:00 and in them the entire population is inoculated from three years of age.

Influenza vaccination contraindications:
- Allergy to any component of the vaccine or to its active principle;
- History of allergy to vaccination prior against influenza;
- Severe acute illness with or without fever (older adults may have acute illnesses without fever). In these cases the vaccination can be postponed for 2 weeks;
- Illness with high or moderate fever; Seizure symptoms within 1 year before vaccination;
- People with hypersensitivity to any component (egg or ovalbumin or chicken protein, neomycin, formaldehyde or octoxynol-9)
- People who have presented Guillain Barré Syndrome in less than six weeks from the flu vaccination previous or people with neurological disorders. (AVV)
