Dismantled illegal mining field in Amazonas

A mixed rapid reaction unit (URRA) of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces dismantled and destroyed a mining logistics camp in the Tabapo municipality, of the Amazon state, as part of the Bolivarian shield Maroa 2025.

This information was detailed by the FANB strategic commander of the FANB, Domingo Hernández Lárez, who reported the materials found.

In the operation, three gasoline -type fuel drums were seized, nine 13 HP motor pumps, 15 sieve carpets, two electric plants, 60 kilograms of various foods, 350 meters of high pressure hose of 4 ”, three maraca hoses of 4”, ten motor belts, two peaks and two blades.

In addition, Hernández Lárez stressed that these results were achieved thanks to the operational department, recognition and patrol work.

The high military authority said that Venezuela is a land of peace and that to maintain tranquility in the territory, officials of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces components are deployed in the 2,219 km of the linear border with the Colombian territory.

He also said that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces is active and lends for the protection of the territory and the combat of illegal mining.
With this action, the Bolivarian government reaffirms its status as the territory of peace, law and justice in the fight against organized crime. l
