“More than an act, this work allows to show the commitment assumed by the National Government with the Paraguayan citizens. We are adding sports scenarios. In essence, this is a meeting place for families, the community and the Department, a place where people can enjoy football, both as athletes, as well as, from the stands, as spectators”, said the National Secretary Minister of Sports, Fatima Morales.
“Today we come to celebrate that sport unites us. It unites us in the same idea and the same dream of seeing our compatriots accessing more and better spaces for competitive, participatory and educational sports practice. That is the mission that the President entrusted to us… it is our commitment to the country,” Morales concluded.
A work for the community
The president of the centennial entity, Vicente Manzoni, expressed that “a sum, a very important investment for Club Sport Cerro León. It is necessary to clarify that the work is done. In other words, it is being demonstrated with facts and the community is very happy”
“Cerro León is a historic place and it is very nice to grow in works for sports. This institution has 106 years of institutional life and in 106 years we managed to reach the final of the Championship. We came out vice champions but today, in works, we are champions”, concluded Manzoni.
The act was headed by the President of the Republic, Mario Abdo Benítez; the Vice President of the Republic, Hugo Velázquez and the National Sports Secretary Minister, Fátima Morales. Likewise, there was the presence of national, departmental and local authorities.
