Defense Minister, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, said Saturday that the United States seeks to impose a narrative to “assault” the country, after sending US military troops to the Caribbean to combat drug trafficking.
«The problem is a narrative that you want to impose to attack Venezuela. That is, building lies that are being made like this, ”said the minister in a video posted on Instagram.
Padrino López indicated that the United States has a “great communicational apparatus to spread its lie and build false positives.”
“Whoever wants to make a lie, manufactures it and nothing happens, because there is no law, there is no rule of international law, we are approaches to international law,” he added.
He also questioned whether the United States will not deploy troops in the Pacific. «Are they not going to deploy through the Pacific where almost 90% of the drug for the United States comes out? That is, the problem is the Caribbean? Is the theme Venezuela? Are the posters then in Venezuela? Are Coca crops in Venezuela?
