The afternoon of this Friday, August 15, the Venezuelan authorities received a deportation flight with 158 migrants, including 18 boys and girls, from Texas, United States.
This was reported by the Ministry of Interior, Justice and Peace in their social networks. According to A publication118 men, 22 women, 11 boys and seven girls arrived on the flight.
The Ministry indicated that since February “more than 10 thousand nationals” have returned to the country, as part of the agreement achieved with the US authorities. «After their landing, repatriated migrants in Venezuela go through a migratory tunnel, where each person is interviewed to review their case; Then they receive medical care (…) and then be transferred to their homes by the security bodies ».
