Around 09:30 this Tuesday there was a commando-type assault at Km. 95 of Route 6, in the town of Edelira.
The victims are two employees of the Armin company, who were traveling in two vehicles, a black Toyota Hilux truck and a Hyundai Santa Fe. They were identified as Ever Daniel Boveda and Armindo Daniel Clar.
According to the police report, both people were driving along the route towards the city of María Auxiliadora, carrying with them a sum of money that had to be deposited in the bank, when they were intercepted by a prize-type Toyota car at the that there were four armed men.
Later, they fired shots at the wheels of both vehicles, causing the Toyota Hilux truck to lose control and end up about 150 meters from the scene. His driver decided to go to a nearby property, fearing being hit by the criminals who were chasing him.
The authors of this assault took advantage of the fact that the vehicle was abandoned to take the money that was inside, fleeing seconds later.
So far the amount of money that was taken during this robbery is unknown.
