Second year students from Junín state schools will read the short novel Finding meby the writer Juan Cárdenas, as part of the XIII Regional Olympiad of Literary Readings. Set in mountain landscapes of Oroya, Tarma and Huancayo, the novel incorporates elements of the Andean worldview such as Amaru and religious references such as the Lord of Shalacoto. Cárdenas, awarded with the magisterial palms in 2019, said that the work is a tribute to teachers who influence the training of their students.
