About 3.6 million workers with a formal contract born in November and December and gaining up to two minimum wages can withdraw, from this Friday (15), the value of the Salary allowance of the Social Integration Program (PIS) and the Public Servant Heritage Training Program (Pasep) in 2025 (base year 2023). The amount is available at Portal Gov.br.
Caixa Econômica Federal will release just over R $ 4.24 billion this month. Approved at the end of last year, the release calendar Follows the month of birth of the worker. Payments began on February 17 and end this Friday.
The worker can check the benefit situation in the Digital Work Card app.
This year, R $ 30.7 billion can be drawn.
According to the Deliberative Council of the Worker Support Fund (Codefat), this year’s salary allowance will be paid to 25.8 million workers across the country. Of this total, about 22 million who work in the private initiative will receive PIS and 3.8 million public servants, state and military employees are entitled to Pasep. PIS is paid by Caixa Econômica Federal and Pasep, Banco do Brasil.
As is traditionally occurring, payments were divided into six lots, based on the month of birth. The withdrawal begins on the release dates of the lots and ends on December 29. After this period, it will be necessary to wait for the special call from the Ministry of Labor.
Who is entitled
The worker registered with at least 5 years has formally worked for at least 30 days in the base year considered for the calculation, with an average monthly remuneration of up to two minimum wages. It is also necessary that the data have been reported correctly by the employer in the annual (RAIS) information relationship.
The amount of the allowance is proportional to the period when the employee worked with a portfolio signed in 2023. Each month worked is equivalent to a benefit of R $ 126.50, with periods equal to or greater than 15 days counted as full month. Those who worked 12 months with a formal contract will receive the full minimum wage of R $ 1,518.
The salary allowance is not confused with the quotas of the old PIS/Pasep background, which are being drawn through another platform, launched in March this year. The old fund houses quotas of about 10.5 million formal workers before the 1988 Constitution. Salary allowance benefits workers with a formal contract after the 1988 Constitution with resources from the Worker Support Fund (FAT).
Payment
Private initiative workers with current account or savings in Caixa will automatically receive credit in the bank, according to the month of their birth.
The other beneficiaries will receive the values through digital social savings, which can be moved by the CAIXA TEM application. If it is not possible to open the digital account, the withdrawal may be performed with the citizen card and password at the self -service terminals, lottery units, cashier here or agencies, also according to the staggered payment calendar per month of birth.
Pasep allowance payment occurs via credit for those who are an account holder or has savings in Banco do Brasil. The worker who is not an account holder of the BB can make the transfer via TED to the account of his self -service terminals and www.bb.com.br/pasep or in the cashier of the agencies, upon presentation of an official identity document.
Anyone who is not an account holder of Caixa or Banco do Brasil and is entitled to benefit can also withdraw the amount through the portal gov.br, in the service “receiving the salary allowance”, but it is necessary to have silver or gold account.
By 2020, the previous year’s salary allowance was paid from July from current to June of the following year. In early 2021, Codefat responded to the recommendation of the Comptroller General of the Union (CGU) and started to deposit the money Only two years after work with a formal contract.
