After the travel alert issued by the United States Department of State, in which he warns of the risk of violence of “terrorist” groups in some entities in Mexico, President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo said that the country is the main tourist destination of the Americans, who continue to come, and even reside more than one million because they like to live here more, “because as Mexico there are no two.”
On the terrorism warning, he explained that it is the term that the neighboring country now uses to name organized crime groups. When referring to alerts, he said that “they have done this for a long time.”
In addition, he said that the presence of the sargasso on the beaches of Quintana Roo has had no real impact on tourism in that area.
He indicated that there is a coordinated work between federal and state governments, and businessmen to attend it.
