The Single Court of Judgment on Crimes of Violence against Women of Táchira, decreed conviction consisting of 20 years in prison for Jhonny Ramón Higuera (30) for his responsibility in the commission of a sexual act with an 11 -year -old girl, the Prosecutor’s Office reported.
Such a fact was denounced last May 16 by the victim’s mother before the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) in the El Pulpito sector, located in the Pan American municipality of the Táchira state.
According to the investigation, the girl’s mother reported that Higuera had taken her daughter of the farm, where she worked for months. Such signal occurred after she noticed that she couldn’t find her and could see her in security recordings while leaving the site in the company of Higuera.
After a security deployment that placed the victimizer in the company of the girl in Coloncito (Táchira), the young woman told before the Children’s and Adolescent Protection Council (CPNNA) that the man had taken her under sentimental deceptions; In addition to having had sex with him.
After the medical and psychological evaluations that were practiced to the young woman, who confirmed the events reported, the man was made available to the Public Ministry. During the trial, the 22nd Prosecutor’s Office of Táchira ratified the accusation against Higuera for the Sexual Act Commission with a specially vulnerable victim.
The subject was held in Detachment 213 of the GNB located in Coloncito.
