Santo Domingo Este.– The former general director of Budget, Luis Reyesaffirmed that the government of Luis Abinader has swell the public payrol quality of life of citizenship.
During a conversation with community leaders and leaders of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) in Santo Domingo Este, Reyes said that this expansion of the expense reflects “Lack of efficiency and absence of clear priorities in government’s economic policy”.
At the meeting, headed by the general secretary of the PLD, Johnny Pujols; the provincial president in Santo Domingo, Cristina Lizardo; The members of the Political Committee, Luis Alberto Tejeda and Alexis Lantigua, and with the moderation of Ramón Cabrera, the former official recalled that much of the Budget goes to payrollpayment of debt interest, subsidies and social aid, but without a real impact on the development of the country.
“He Problem is not only how much you spend, but how it is spent. This government has shown that it can spend more, but without generating tangible results for people, ”said Reyes.
He also warned that, although in the past the PLD increased the public payroll to a greater extent, the difference was that these resources were oriented to projects and initiatives that promoted economic growth and social infrastructure.
The meeting was attended by councilors of the City Council of Santo Domingo Este and other leaders of the PLD.
