The Deputy Minister of Communicational Management, Simón Arrechider, highlighted the need to advance in the organization of communal thought tanks (TPC) under the method Street, medium, networks, walls and radio Bemba -Putted by President Nicolás Maduro-, to dismantle the cynicism of the United States that does not cease in his attacks against Venezuela.
The idea is that in each commune and communal circuit there is a tank of thought, which can agglutinate all the organizations that make life in the territory, he said during his participation in the workshop that takes place at the Teresa Carreño Theater (TTC).
“What is the role we have before this onslaught that American imperialism has given, knowing that they are the drug empire? In the first place, the TPCs have to serve as a shield against misinformation, to dismantle the narratives of the enemy, identifying where it comes; secondly, serve as a sword for territorial roots, to build and position our narrative,” he said.
He said that when “communication is generated from cultural roots, there is no empire that can defeat it”, and in that sense, Venezuela is an example of this, because “it will not let the cognitive war have space here.”
He invited the TPC to maintain the articulation with all the communication forces to give strong responses to those who try to trample the dignity of the Venezuelan people.
“If we are not really coordinated through the different organization methods that are being created -very good that we are in communication -we will not have the impact we really need,” he said.
In addition, he highlighted the importance of systematizing the contents to have arguments that allow the battle in the field of communication.
Communicational challenges
Vice Minister Simón Arrechider said that the unit has to be for the TPC a fundamental bastion to guarantee the continuity of the revolutionary project.
He also indicated that another of the great challenges that popular and alternative communicators have is to make the leap to digital to break the media fence imposed by algorithms and generate content for the entire people.
He said it is essential to understand that communication is not only for specialized groups. Communication is everything and for the entire people, so it is necessary to advance in a strategy where “the entire people communicate, and thus break the technological gap that they impose.”
