Tejupilco is located southwest of the State of Mexico and is considered the most important town in the south of that entity. Its territory has a border with the state of Guerrero. It is also close to municipalities of Michoacán.

“The Trump administration will continue the use of all the tools available to point to cartels and other violent organizations that try to exploit our communities and damage the Americans,” he added.
The Treasury said that the new Michoacan family is a drug trafficking organization mainly established in the states of Guerrero and Michoacán that has trafficked fentanyl, methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine to the United States, and that has washed the profits of those illicit drugs through the US financial system.
” In addition to poisoning Americans, the group has been involved in acts of horror and violence within Mexico, ” he said.
United States authorities assured that this criminal group has used drones to throw bombs to its rivals with total indifference to the civilian population of Mexico.
