President Mario Abdo Benítez will leave for Chile this Thursday, in order to participate in the transfer of command, in which Gabriel Boric will take over as the new president.
Accompanied by Foreign Minister Euclides Acevedo, Abdo Benítez will go to Chile on March 10, to witness the inauguration ceremony of Gabriel Boric, replacing the outgoing Sebastián Piñera, on Friday the 11th.
He will take advantage of the occasion to hold his first bilateral meeting with Boric, with whom he will develop a “quite broad” agenda, which will later be directed by their respective foreign ministries.
Minister Euclides Acevedo announced that at the moment issues such as fuel will not be addressed, but the submarine cable, which together with the Bioceanic Corridor make an essential parallel for the vision of the Asia-Pacific as a horizon for the export of products
