Hermosillo, Son., A cargo of 838 kilograms of methamphetamine was insured in the Cucapah military review position, of San Luis Río Colorado, during an operation coordinated by the institutions that make up the State Security Table of Sonora. The drug was hidden in 1,863 packages wrapped in transparent plastic and in 74 10 -liter gallons with possible liquid methamphetamine, transported in a white Kenworth tractocamion from Monterrey, Nuevo León, bound for San Quintín, Baja California. In the action, Almícar, 53, was arrested and originally from Reforma, Sinaloa, who was available to the Federal Public Ministry together with the vehicle and the insured substance. Governor Alfonso Durazo recognized the work of the State Security Board, which last week executed 117 arrest warrants, 33 of them against alleged responsible for high -impact crimes, highlighting that “firm steps are being taken so that our families live with more security and confidence.” The confiscation reinforces surveillance in this strategic area and is part of inter -institutional efforts to curb drug trafficking in the region.
