On Tuesday, March 8, starting at 4:00 pm, the Plenary Session of Congress will receive the President of the Council of Ministers, Aníbal Torres, accompanied by members of his Cabinet, to request the investiture. The vote of confidence is given by a simple majority of the 130 parliamentarians.
According to article 82 of the Legislative Regulations, if trust is denied to the Council of Ministers, then the President of the Republic must accept the resignation of the head of the Ministerial Cabinet and the other ministers, “immediately”.
