The Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, informed that on Saturday, August 9, they were in a “explosive deposit in Maturín”, which he said is part of a plot to attack the people. He held the opposition leader, María Corina Machado, Iván Simonovis, drug trafficking bands and some criminal gangs, which says operate from Colombia.
“María Corina Machado is the head of this operation against Venezuela,” said the minister and said they continue to investigate because these cases are not isolated.

He also accused María Corina Machado and Juan Guaidó had agreed with traffickers to allow the passage of these illegal substances through the country, from them to get to power.
For his part, the president of Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, sent a message to the leftist sectors that took away their support from Nicolás Maduro and denounces human rights violations.
