The Senate approved on Tuesday (12) to Provisional Measure (MP 1.296/2025)which creates an extra payment program for INSS servers for review of care benefits and social security paid to workers.
According to the government, MP 1296/2025 aims to reduce the queue for granting and reviewing pensions, disease aid and disability pensions, among others. The proposal would lose its validity today, and now goes to presidential sanction.
The MP, which was approved by the House of Representatives Last week, it foresees payments as an incentive for productivity of R $ 68.00, by process, for INSS servers, and another of R $ 75,00, for expertise or analysis, for medical expertise servers. The program will last until April 15, 2026, and may be extended until December 31 of next year.
During the vote, Senator Damares Alves (Republicans-DF) presented a highlighted prominence to remove from MP an excerpt that cites the Benefit of Continuing Beage (BPC), understanding that the measure could harm the people who receive the benefit. However, after an agreement of leaders the change was rejected
The rapporteur of the proposal, Senator Zenaide Maia (PSD-RN), explained that the merit of the MP is not to review the BPC, but reduce the line of INSS beneficiaries. “It is not possible that this country has 2 million people in a line to acquire something that it is entitled,” says Zenaide.
