Mothers of families from the Ernesto T. Lefevre School denounce that they have not received the uniforms, they paid for them in November

“They scammed us, they scammed us”, this was the phrase shouted by some mothers stationed outside the Ernesto T. Lefevre School, in Juan Díaz, who denounced that the school management had imposed school uniforms on their children, and after having paid for them, they have not been delivered.

“Since November we paid for the uniforms and we came on Friday and the uniforms were not ready. We got our money back. They paid for an expensive uniform, they imposed a uniform on us that not even any father had accepted, apart from the fact that it is expensive, since November they paid for it and on Friday the uniform was still not ready, ”said one of the protesters.

They mentioned that the prices varied according to the sizes of each student. “The sweater was priced at $10 when it was $8 on the outside and the fabric was cheaper; pants cost $15, but if the child was too big it costs $18”, they said.

On the first day of classes, many of the students came wearing jeans and a white shirt, clothing that, according to this group of mothers, is due to the fact that some do not have the money to pay for the “imposed” uniform.

“They (the campus) do not want us to make the uniforms outside, they want us to make them here,” they revealed.
