This after the national table of the coalition meet this Sunday to define its strategy regarding the treatment that the project will have in Congress and on which Together for Change has made several criticisms.

However, the opposition did state that “it does not share or agree” with what is presented in the economic program that is part of the project, with which it is expected to vote only for refinancing.
Even minutes before the proposal was sent to Congress, the economics team made several adjustments to the document, to take into account the opposition’s request and thus win the most possible votes.
Consequently, the deputies hope that the Minister of Economy can resolve the doubts they have in relation to the refinancing to define whether or not they will vote in favor of it.
Meanwhile, the opposition affirmed that “while the Government is divided, Together for Change is united”Despite this, until last week, the different political parties in the coalition showed a fairly divided position regarding the agreement.

In the midst of the political tension between the ruling party, Martín Guzmán must seek the support of the opposition so that the proposal is approved in debate and passes this week to the Senate.
However, the panorama is more complex after the statements by Alberto Fernández at the beginning of the ordinary sessions, where he stressed that his government had to pay the consequences of a debt negotiated by Mauricio Macri.
In this sense, the head of the PRO, Patricia Burllich, assured that JxC does not accept that the Government says: “All the historical responsibility lies with Together for Change, we are not going to accept that.”
With this, he ratified that the deputies are only going to “accompany the financing, not the agreement” and added that the program not only “leaves a bomb into the future, but also destroys in the present the possibility that Argentina will come out of the crisis ”.
